as most of you probably know, the boys debuted at number one this week. yahoo had a little article about it! read it here. the boys also posted a new blog about it!
Hey everyone!

We wanted to write and say thanks for making A LITTLE BIT LONGER the NUMBER 1 CD in the US and Canada. We could not have done this without all of you and your support. You have made our dreams come true!!!

Also, we just found out that our last CD, JONAS BROTHERS, came back into the Top 10 at Number 10. And CAMP ROCK is still in the Top 10 at Number 8. Our label told us that *NSYNC was the last group to have 2 CDs in the Top 10 in 1999. This does not include Camp Rock.

it's been FOREVER. and i know, there's no need to tell me. we have all been SOOO busy lately but now that school has started we might have a little more time. which seems weird, i know. it all depends, i'm taking an online class and three really difficult classes so i'm not sure how much time i'll have once our classes really start, today was only the first whole day and i already had to take history notes for two hours. so you see, it's an issue.

joe recently went to one of taylor's concerts, and stood in the soundbooth with a hat on to try to disguise himself. you can see those pictures here.

Jonas Brothers Debut at #1 with Year’s Third Highest Total, Mamma Mia!, Kid Rock, Miley Cyrus, Sugarland Round Out Top 5

They came, they saw and they conquered the HITS Album sales chart.The Jonas Brothers’ Hollywood album, A Little Bit Longer, debuts at #1 this week with a total of 515k, the third-highest of the year behind Lil Wayne and Coldplay and the 12th best since January 2007.

That’s more than enough to turn back last week’s chart-topper, Decca’s Mamma Mia! soundtrack, which falls to #2 with 108k.
Atlantic’s Kid Rock keeps on going “All Summer Long,” as his Rock N’ Roll Jesus album is up 14% to 103k, good for #3.

Along with A Little Bit Longer, Hollywood’s Miley Cyrus (#4) is one of four Disney Music Group titles in the Top 10, including Camp Rock (#7) and the Jonas Brothers’ debut (#10).

Mercury Nashville’s Sugarland (#5), Cash Money/Universal Motown’s Lil Wayne (#6), Capitol’s Coldplay (#8) and Def Jam/IDJ’s Rihanna round out the Top 10.

Machete/Interscope’s reggaeton ruler Daddy Yankee (#13), Epic’s Yung Berg (#18) and Legacy’s New Kids on the Block greatest hits (#21) are the other Top 50 newcomers, while Universal Republic’s Flobots re-enters at #50.

Other positive gainers include Camp Rock (+9%), J Records/RMG’s Leona Lewis (#22-15, +3%), Mercury’s Duffy (#25-19, +4%), Reprise’s Disturbed (#26-20, +5%), Atlantic’s Jason Mraz (#31-24, +7%) and Hear Music’s John Mellencamp (#48-43, +5%).

Hitting retail this week are Atlantic’s Staind, The Firm/EMI’s Ice Cube, Suretone/ Interscope’s Shwayze and Disney’s Cheetah Girls.

Next week, Interscope’s The Game and Roadrunner’s Slipknot are in the streets.

3d movie! :D • 0 Comments

You’ve been bombarding TRL, spamming our website and screaming on FNMTV. Now you’ll be able to get up, close and personal with the Jersey boys themselves. According to Variety, the Jonas Brothers’ previously announced 3-D concert film has snagged a release date: February 27, 2009.

The currently untitled Disney flick will follow the mold of the recent Miley Cyrus smash hit, combining live concert footage with behind-the-scenes moments. Not much else is known about the movie yet, but stay tuned to the MTV Movies Blog for all your breaking Jonas Brothers movie needs.
